Decarbonisation Roadmapping & Net Zero Strategy
A Decarbonisation Roadmap and Net Zero Strategy defines how your organisation will reduce emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 to achieve science-aligned targets by 2030 and net zero by 2050 — in line with SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard requirements and IPCC 1.5°C pathways.
The SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard requires organisations to commit to near-term targets (typically 2030, validated within 24 months of commitment) that reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 42% from a 2020 base year, and to long-term net zero targets that achieve a minimum 90% reduction by no later than 2050. CSRD under ESRS E1 requires disclosure of a Paris Agreement-aligned transition plan. TCFD/IFRS S2 requires climate transition planning disclosure. Investors including the Net Zero Asset Owners Alliance, Climate Action 100+, and major sovereign wealth funds are increasingly screening for credible, independently validated net zero strategies. Without a structured roadmap grounded in science-based reduction requirements, net zero commitments lack credibility and decarbonisation capital is misallocated.

A structured decarbonisation roadmap is developed using your GHG Protocol-aligned emissions baseline, sector-specific abatement technologies, and SBTi target-setting methodology. The roadmap is calibrated to IPCC 1.5°C-aligned reduction pathways and structured to support SBTi validation, CSRD ESRS E1 transition plan disclosure, and TCFD/IFRS S2 climate strategy reporting.
