Training & Capacity Building equips internal teams with the technical knowledge and practical capabilities required to manage GHG accounting, ESG reporting, and regulatory compliance effectively and independently.
As ESG obligations under CSRD/ESRS, SEBI BRSR Core, BEE GEI Target Rules, and IFRS S2 become more technically demanding, organisations need aligned internal capability across finance, operations, procurement, and sustainability functions. GHG accounting in line with the GHG Protocol, materiality assessment under ESRS 1, climate risk analysis for TCFD, and CDP questionnaire completion all require specific technical skills that cannot be fully outsourced. Without structured training calibrated to these specific frameworks, ESG management remains siloed, data quality suffers, and organisations become permanently dependent on external support for activities that should be internalised.
Our approach
A structured training programme is designed based on a training needs assessment across functions and levels, and calibrated to the specific regulatory and framework requirements facing the organisation. Modules cover GHG Protocol accounting methodology, BRSR Core and CSRD/ESRS reporting, CDP questionnaire preparation, climate risk assessment under TCFD/IFRS S2, and EcoVadis or UNGC compliance as relevant. Training is delivered through workshops, interactive sessions, and practical case studies. Outputs are designed to embed technical capability and reduce long-term reliance on external advisory for routine ESG management activities.
- Training needs assessment across sustainability, finance, operations, procurement, and HR functions
- Development of tailored modules covering GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting, ISO 14064-1, and emission factor selection
