The most widely adopted frameworks include LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, administered by the US Green Building Council), BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, UK), the WELL Building Standard (International WELL Building Institute), Fitwel (Center for Active Design), IGBC (Indian Green Building Council, affiliated with CII), and GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment, India's national green building rating).
