GHG Assessment
A GHG Assessment, also referred to as a carbon footprint assessment or carbon accounting, provides a complete, defensible view of emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1.
For organisations across the UAE, GCC, India, and their wider regional supply chains, this is increasingly a commercial and regulatory requirement. UAE and GCC businesses face growing climate reporting, procurement, investor, and customer expectations, while Indian businesses must respond to frameworks including SEBI's Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR), the Greenhouse Gas Emission Intensity rules, and export-market requirements. International standards such as IFRS S2, CDP, and SBTi add further pressure across these markets.
Without a structured GHG inventory, disclosures lack credibility, reduction targets cannot be set reliably, and decarbonisation efforts remain unstructured. We adapt each assessment to the organisation's operating locations, regulatory context, and value chain rather than applying a single-country template.
Our approach
An end-to-end GHG inventory is delivered in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1, designed to support regulatory compliance and strategic decision-making in the UAE, GCC, India, and wider international markets. Scope 2 emissions are calculated under market-based and location-based methods, Scope 3 categories are assessed using supplier-specific or spend-based activity data, and jurisdiction-appropriate emission factors are applied where available. Outputs integrate directly into ESG disclosures, SBTi target-setting, and decarbonisation planning.
