GHG Assessment
A GHG Assessment, also referred to as a carbon footprint assessment, provides a complete, defensible view of emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1.
For most organisations, this is now a commercial requirement. Regulatory frameworks including SEBI's Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR), the EU CSRD, and IFRS S2 depend on accurate, auditable emissions data aligned with recognised methodologies. Investor scrutiny and customer procurement requirements add further pressure. Without a structured GHG inventory, disclosures lack credibility, Science Based Targets cannot be set, and decarbonisation efforts remain unstructured.
Our approach
An end-to-end GHG inventory is delivered in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1, designed to support both regulatory compliance and strategic decision-making. Scope 2 emissions are calculated under both market-based and location-based methods, and Scope 3 categories are assessed using the GHG Protocol Scope 3 Standard and supplier-specific or spend-based activity data. Outputs are structured to integrate directly into ESG disclosures, SBTi target-setting, and decarbonisation planning.
