EcoVadis
EcoVadis is the world's leading business sustainability ratings platform, assessing over 130,000 companies across 21 sustainability criteria grouped into four themes: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
EcoVadis ratings — scored from 0–100 and tiered as Bronze (45–54), Silver (55–64), Gold (65–74), and Platinum (75+) — are required by multinational procurement teams at organisations including LVMH, L'Oréal, Nestlé, Saint-Gobain, and many others as part of supplier qualification and contract renewal processes. Ratings feed directly into supply chain sustainability programmes, Scope 3 supplier assessments, and CSRD value chain due diligence obligations. Without a structured approach to EcoVadis preparation and improvement, organisations risk low ratings that trigger supplier review, procurement disqualification, or reduced pricing leverage in carbon-sensitive value chains.
